Product Description
Pelican Protector Cases are made with Copolymer Polypropylene, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which is stronger and lighter that the completion. You can tell its a Pelican case by the distinctive "twin-ribbed" top surface. Stainless steel pins are used for hinges and handles. The new Double-Throw latches are much easier to open.
- Pelican cases are kept watertight through the use of a tongue and groove fit and a polymer o-ring.
- Pelican cases come standard with an Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve which releases built up air pressure while keeping water out.

The foam cubes are hard to pull out, but then you are assured that the ones you didn't want to come out won't. The picture shows a case with a telescoping handle and wheels so that you can pull it behind you like luggage. This is the case that we WANTED to purchase. Unfortunately, the case we received did not have the telescoping handle or the wheels. The item # for that case is 1510, not 1500. This is very frustrating, not only for the consumer but also for the merchant. The merchant in this case told me that they do not have control over the picture that Amazon puts with the description. They did give me a $15 credit but would not trade out the product we received with the product that we actually wanted and THOUGHT that we had ordered without wanting to charge me the difference. |
